Set of two fine silk and silk velvet carpets on ivory field silk backings decorated with polychrome scrolls and garlands of flowering palmettes adorned with a central sky-blue floral rosette, five borders, the main one ruby decorated in a manner reminiscent of the central field (small accident).
The first carpet circa 1970.
The second circa 20th century.
