Fabric head ring with cowrie shells, also known as Suggan Pad, a traditional tribal accessory for carrying heavy loads on the head. The cowries are added for aesthetic and spiritual reasons. The women of the Newar people in Nepal were best known for wearing this accessory. Length: 37 cm
