Claudius POPELIN (1825-1892, painter, enameler and poet, had an affair with Princess Mathilde) / Witty autograph letter signed, 2 p small in-4, in the form of an act of justice, August 12, 1867, to his friend Charles BLANC (1813-1882, engraver and critic): he humorously summons him to hand over his "Grammaire des arts et du dessin", "declaring that should he fail to comply with the present summons within the said delay, the petitioner intends to compel him to do so by all means of courtesy".
