Constant Alexandre FAMIN(1827-1888, photographer known for his rural scenes) / Original print before 1870 on albumen paper from a glass negative, depicting the milkmaid on her donkey (16.1 x 11.7 cm mounted on cardboard), the photograph is signed "C Famin" in the lower left-hand plate, and is stamped in the lower left-hand corner with the photographer's dry stamp: "C. FAMIN PHOTOGRAPHE PARIS". FAMIN PHOTOGRAPHE PARIS" and bears the plate number 88 in the lower right-hand corner.
