Albert GLEIZES (1881-1953, painter, one of the founders of cubism) / Autograph postcard signed, sent from Toulon on July 21, 1929, to the woman of letters Emma Cabire: he left Paris to attend the Fêtes de Suffren in Saint-Tropez where he hoped to see her; the card is a souvenir of Suffren, Gleizes specifies on the front: "Carte distribuée aux Equipages de la Flotte par ordre du Ministre de la Marine".
