REIMS (Marne) SUTAINE family / Part of the archives of this old Reims family of wine merchants (Jean-Baptiste Sutaine, a bourgeois merchant, was an alderman of Reims in the 18th century): over 40 documents, 1790-1820, concerning the Cense-Neuve farm, formerly part of the Valroy Abbey in Saint-Quentin-le-Petit (Ardennes), acquired as Biens Nationaux: various documents concerning the purchase as Biens Nationaux, deeds of sale, counts of guardianship, shares, successions, inventories, transfer of shares, estimates of work (expeditions, private deeds mentioned "fait en double", "fait triple entre les comparants" or "fait en sextuple entre nous"), various letters; concerned: Philippe Henry Sutaine, Jeanne Baptiste Bertherand (widow of the previous owner), Alexandre Sutaine, Philippe Charles Sutaine etc.
