Lyre clock in chased ormolu decorated with palmettes, topped with a bust of Plato. The uprights feature swans holding a chain in their beaks. Quadrangular base decorated with flowering cornucopias and a frieze of heart-shaped stripes. Openwork dial with palmettes and scrolls in the center, with Roman numeral compartments.
