White marble clock depicting Venus and love in gilt bronze. Round white enameled dial with Roman numerals for the hours, Arabic numerals for the minutes and chemin de fer, with two winders. Signed Henry VOISIN in Paris, in a frame decorated with friezes of flowers and vines. Oval, raised base decorated with a frieze of leaves and flowers, topped with a half-relief plaque depicting lovers playing music. Resting on eight gadrooned ball feet. Late 18th, early 19th century.
