In 1806, the Susse frères stationery company rented n°7 passage des Panoramas and in 1816 bought n°7-8. Susse frères sold "l'article de Paris", enabling customers to find a little of everything in their store. In 1830, the company became supplier to Queen Marie-Amélie, wife of King Louis-Philippe.
