Iron frame.
Herringbone pommel, guard piece with two inverted S-shaped quillons standing out from the body knot, and a donkey step on which are symmetrically arranged four rings protecting the blade's ricasso.
Double-edged straight blade engraved in the throat with "ME FECIT SOLINGEN", S hallmark under crown on the ricasso.
Total length: 113cm.
Probably Italian work, circa 1600.
