Ink and color painting on silk, two women, one playing the pipa and the other, pensive, holding a fan.
Signed and dated ''1986'' and stamped lower right. Framed under glass (broken).
Sight size 65 x 43 cm; with frame 83 x 57 cm.
Đào Mùi, whose real name is Đào Nguyễn, was born in Saigon in 1943. A family tradition, this work was acquired from a gallery in Vietnam in the 1980s.
