Grand médaillon en bronze
signed Pierre-Alexandre Morlon (1878-1951) representing various disciplines of the Winter and Summer Olympic Games. He studied with Alexandre Falguière (1831-1900) at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts. He began exhibiting in 1900 and is renowned for his monumental works. Exceptional bronze bas-relief, 51 cm in diameter, with very fine engraving.
