Gold medal at the 1968 World Ice Hockey Championships in Grenoble. The Olympic Ice Hockey Tournament also served as the World Championship of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF). The gold medal was awarded to the Soviet Union team, which won its eighth World Championship title and third Olympic gold medal. This medal is just as rare as the Olympic gold medal. Manufactured by Huguenin. Gilt bronze. Diameter 61 mm. Mint condition.
