One of the first attempts to catalogue and define the Bolognese dialect, comparing it with Italian and French.
4to, (275 x 190 mm). Engraved title-page, vignette of Bologna to title-page, four orthographic plates from ff. 4.1 to 4.3 (some foxing, lower corner tear without touching text on paper 22.3).
