Reproduction Trojan Codex, over four meters long, one of only three Mayan books that have come down to us, discovered in mid-19th-century Spain and since then kept at the Museo de America in Madrid. Its contents consist mainly of almanacs and horoscopes used to help Mayan priests in the performance of their ceremonies and divinatory rituals, including a description of the New Year ceremony. This is the first reproduction of the artifact with only one previously recorded appearance at auction (RBH)
4to, (225 x 4100mm). Leporello book consisting of 35 sheets, printed in colored on both sides and hinged to be folded within an editorial slipcase with typographical data and with 3 pamphlets of 7 pages describing the codex in English French and German enclosed (Some tears to the slipcase). (1)
