The works of Euclid edited by Christopher Clavius and originally printed in 1574, difficult to find complete with both volumes. 2 vols, 8vo, (173 x 120mm). Engraved title-pages, numerous illustrations in the text, engraved initials, head; and tailpieces, second volume partially unopened (wormhole to second volume from the title-page almost to the end touching the title-page and some marginalia, some foxing and browning, otherwise in good condition). Contemporary full vellum binding, manuscript title to spine. Provenance: Ex Libris Robilant (contemporary ownership inscription to endpapers). (2)
