Complete copy of the 64 plates of the Geography, accompanied by the text of the second complete part of the 'table of the names of the provinces' of the first edition of Ruscelli's translation of Ptolemy with the maps derived from those made by Giacomo Gastaldi. It is also noteworthy that the 37 maps of the modern world include the first map in an atlas depicting the world in dual hemispheres [Shirley, Mapping of the World 110].
