Hand-held silver candlestick (950) with poly-lobed, molded, six-staple tray, circular molded spigot and filleted spatula grip, stylized foliate attachment and ring.
Goldsmith's hallmark: Antoine DUTEMPLE (1741-post. 1788), active in Bordeaux.
Poinçon de Jurande [B.D] de BORDEAUX for Dec. 1776-Dec. 1778 and de Charge [BD] for small works for Jan. 1775-Oct. 1780.
Under the plate and inside the binet.
Weight : 249.9 g. - Length : 21 cm - H. : 4.6 cm - Diam. : 12.2 cm.
Scratches and a few bumps from use, hole under the neck of the binet, old soldering at the base of the binet and at the grip.
