High-quality silky wool velvet on multicolored silk backing.
Original beige field decorated with a floral company of stylized flower bouquets finely drawn in polychrome. Ruby main border decorated with multicolored floral bulbs. Decor reminiscent of French soapmaking.
Late 19th - early 20th century.
