In the tradition of Turkish rugs.
Silk velvet on silk backing.
Field decorated with a very large central medallion with starry flowers, inlaid with finely drawn feather-like foliage and stylized flower compositions in polychrome on a green-bronze ground. Six borders, the main one in navy blue with interlacing twisted, serpentine branches in old gold.
Circa 1975/80.
