Spanish school of the first half of the 20th century. "Busts of Basque characters. Pair of circular silver plated brass medallions. In a single frame. Without signature. Measurements: 12 cm (diameter each); 23 x 40 cm (frame). This work responds to the Basque regionalist current in which the painters seek to reflect types and customs of their land, which make it different and unique, thus claiming their own roots and, above all, the traditions and ways of dressing and behaving of its inhabitants.
