French school of the mid-twentieth century. "Les heures se suivent". Mixed media on paper. Measurements: 45 x 33 cm; 62 x 50 cm (frame). Work on paper representing an allegory on the ages of women and the passage of time, as a contemporary vanitas. A clock with Roman numeration hosts three women's bodies. The three colors (pink, blue and black) convey metaphors linked respectively to the flowering of youth, the mellowness of maturity and the existential withdrawal of the last stage.
