Self-taught sculptor, Cristobal Martin is linked to Moriarty Gallery since its inception, in fact he has made several solo exhibitions and many editions of Arco with them. In 89-90 he was in Rome with the Scholarship of the Academy, where he took the opportunity to learn marble carving in the workshops of Pietrasanta in Tuscany. The following Banesto Foundation Grant was the occasion for a symbolic proposal. His work has always focused on a poetic-symbolic interpretation of nature, trying to reveal the underlying mystery behind the forms.
