LOPEZ, Guillaume (Born 1962) Porsche 917 n°23, Le Mans 1970 ""Nuit"". Limited edition print on plexiglass, numbered 20/150 and signed on verso, accompanied by its certificate of authenticity. 60 x 150 cm. Illustration on Porsche's first victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans, commissioned by Gérard Larousse (winner of the 24h of Le Mans in 1973 and 1974, director of the Renault F1 team...) for the drivers' magazine, of which he is currently president. Guillaume Lopez began his career in the studio of Jean Graton, creator and designer of Michel Vaillant. He spent over twenty years there, specializing in the drawing of cars and other mechanical machines, adapting to the master's style. He cites Dany, Aidans and Hermann among his influences. His dynamic, precise style, which excels in depicting movement, is favored by the press, agencies and sponsors in the automotive field. He is also the official designer for the 24h of Le Mans.
