Fernand Michel was a resolutely unconventional artist, on the frontier of Art Brut. His galvanized work reveals a fertile imagination, where the profane rubs shoulders with the sacred. His works can be seen at the Musée d'Art Brut in Montpellier, alongside those of Aloïse Corbaz, Adolf Wölfli, Baya, Augustin Lesage...
