In-4, first edition of this poetic anthology illustrated with 60 woodcuts by Yvonne Heilbronner. Limited edition of 230 numbered copies, this one #2, one of 10 on Lafuma pur fil.
Enriched with a sanguine proof of the Heilbronner bookplate, a state of the cover on fine japon paper, a state of the illustration for Sully-Prudhomme's "Vénus", an original ink and gouache illustration of a hat and cane, two proofs annotated "1er état" and signed by the artist, and a suite of 64 etchings, some in duplicate, as well as a handwritten tracing. All the illustrations in the suite printed on fine Japon paper, mounted on strong paper.
