The second volume contains 4 pages of a portrait of Matisse by André Rouveyre, illustrated with a frontispiece by Leonor Fini, an original silver photograph of Matisse by Brassaï, reproductions of 10 drawings by Matisse accompanied by two tracings and a facsimile of the artist's handwritten list, and 2 poems in facsimile by Paul Eluard.
