8" rifled barrel with beautiful markings. Closed frame. Plain cylinder. Brass trigger guard.
Walnut stock plates, one with military acceptance stamp.
Minor traces of use. Over 85% blued finish. N°47079.
Manufactured from 1863 to 1875, approximately 132,000 in army.
NB: a batch of 20,000 was purchased in 1870 by the French national defense government.
