Military clothing and miscellaneous - French Army. Set consisting of a model 1845 belt buckle, a Gendarmerie Maritime belt buckle, a stamp with the initials "CRF" and "Nancy", two model 1892 musettes in thick beige canvas, one of which bears the naval anchor and the words "1. RIC, Tonkin. 1904" embroidered on the flap. Attached are a blue sailor's collar in white and blue linen from the French Navy, three model 1867 troop gaiters in linen canvas with leather underpads bearing several markings, one of which bears the reception stamp of the 96th Regiment de Ligne dated 1889, a pair of white canvas sailor's deck pants with four-button front closure (one missing) stamped and dated 1931, a pair of thick khaki canvas pants and a red belt in the Zouave, Spahis, Tirailleur d'Afrique tradition. Stains, wear, holes and repairs throughout.
