Maison MAQUET in Paris and Nice. Porcelain quadrangular potpourri with polychrome enamel decoration of attributes on a foliate background, the corners slightly grooved, the heel underlined by a foliate frieze. The gilded metal frame is decorated with chased flowers and birds, and the grids are mobile. H. 7.5 cm - Section: 18.5 cm. Chipped heel, missing enamel, probably missing mounting.
