RUSSIA, second half of the 19th century. Icon of the Mother of God Iverskaya and the Infant Jesus. Tempera on wood on a gold ground, the border in imitation of cloisonné enamel. Slight wear. Preserved in a blackened wooden frame. Dimensions of the icon: 17.7 x 14.5 cm. Stamped with the Russian imperial eagle on the back.
