Italian landscape with boats (Naples?) circa 1900 Oil on canvas signed lower right and located in "Florence" (artist's studio) 43 x 68 cm Condition report: Framed, small loss upper left (slight) This Spanish painter obtained a grant in 1874 to continue his studies in Rome. From then on, Italy became his adopted home. A close friend of the painters Palmaroli and Agustin Salinas, he is known for his popular scenes of Naples, orientalist works and seascapes.
He works mainly in oil and watercolor. (MLD)
