Modernist jardinière with pedestal, ca. 1910.
Cobalt blue glazed ceramic with gilt decoration.
With traces of labels.
It shows signs of use and some chipping on the base.
Measurements: 104 x 50 x 50 cm.
On a high base with vegetalised helicoidal forms, a globular belly jardinière rises up. Both pieces have been enamelled in cobalt blue and have details in gold: while in the base it is limited to appear in the form of fillets, in the jardinière it emerges in the form of a beautiful floral pattern. Inside, the jardinière has a sky-blue background.
