Large Chinese scholar's rock of a waxy pale, beige hue, possibly taihu rock. Of an irregular obelisk shape and highly textured surface. There are many recessed crevices, hollows, and caverns throughout. With a scrollwork carved lacquer wooden stand atop four chow feet. (Including stand) height: 23 in x width: 9 in x depth: 7 in. Weight: 24 lbs 8 oz.
