Kenneth Puqiqnak (Uqsuqtuuq Inuit, 20th century). Soapstone carving depicting a figure striking an assertive stance with two raised fists, gazing forward with inlaid eyes. The base with Canada Eskimo Art igloo sticker. Kenneth Puqiqnak is the brother of Wayne Puqiqnak, a well known sculptor, as well as the son of Uriash Puqiqnak, also a prominent Inuit sculptor and figure in Uqsuqtuuq, Nunavut, Canada. Height: 7 1/2 in x width: 7 in x depth: 3 in. Weight: 2,318. 6 g.
