On the verso label an interviewed individual remarked “This has to be the most famous hitchhiking strip in the country. And it’s the most competitive. People who move around the United States with the aid of their thumbs and kind-hearted or curious people who pick them up.” Provenance: From the archives of the Star Tribune, established over 150 years ago, Minneapolis, Minnesota.
