Official poster for these Games, which were not held until 1952 due to the war, giving us a little border variation: "XII Olympiska Spelen, Helsingfors, 20-VII/4-VIII 1940". With Paavo Nurmi (1897-1973), statuesque and flying around the world because of and despite the nine gold medals he won on the asphalt between 1920 and 1928.
