Olympic Games/ Summer, 1996/ Atlanta. The official torch designed by Peter Mastrogiannis. For the centenary of the Renewed Games, a double tribute is paid to the 22 cities that have already hosted the Summer Games. They are mentioned in full on the gold ring of the lower aluminum part, and symbolically represented by the 22 aluminum rods forming the upper focus.
A gold ring features the vintage, Atlanta and the rings. In the 80 cm of this highly symbolic creation, the coldness of the metal is nicely offset by the large central handle that warms with its Georgia wood. Please note a small crease on one of the 22 rods during casting and a small missing piece.
