Description:
The artwork comprises a series of detailed, monochromatic vignettes on a single sheet. It shows various animals and people in an eclectic arrangement. Mammals, birds and reptiles can be seen alongside scenes of human figures involved in historical or everyday activities. These depictions could be interpreted symbolically or allegorically. Their arrangement suggests no direct connection, which allows for multi-layered viewer interactions. All the depictions bear the same initial, illustrated here and printed at the top centre.
