Description:
Reverse copy with Dürer's monogram and date. Inscribed "AD" and "1507" lower right. The image corresponds to sheet 12 from Dürer's engraved Passion, which was created between 1507 and 1512. The copy is one of the reprints by the Bamberg antiquarian Bundele, which are generally highly accurate. Older such copies are considered very rare. Unlike the original, the thorns of the crown of thorns do not touch the stone at the bottom.
