Piranesi L'an 1805". At the lower part inscribed in the printing plate: "Outils de Macons et d'Agriculteurs trouves à Pompeia". Date: 1805 Description: The engraving shows a compilation of Roman tools from the ruins of Pompeii, skilfully arranged on a dark background. The detailed elaboration creates a vivid testimony to ancient craftsmanship.
