Miniature on parchment in polychrome and gilt (28.7 x 21.7 cm). Beautiful 19th-century miniature presented to Pope Pius IX by the Congrégation des Soeurs Hospitalières de Saint-Thomas de Villeneuve.
Painted with the coat of arms of the Holy See and dedicated in calligraphy in black, red and gold on the reverse.
