Oil on canvas Eliseo Meifren moved to the Canary Islands in 1897, invited by Eusebio Navarro, President of the Literary Cabinet of Las Palmas. This work was commissioned from the painter when he spent long periods of time in the capital's neighborhood of San Cristobal by the sea, in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. It is the largest of a series of six that hung on the walls of the dining room of a palace house in that city. Signed in the lower right corner. Measurements: 250 x 192 cm
