Album containing 13 vintage photographs of the interior of Villa Mellini in Monte Mario
tempera-painted cardboard cover, 29x41 cm (defects).
The villa, of 15th-century origin, was built at the behest of Mario Mellini, Perpetual Chancellor of Rome, under the pontificate of Sixtus IV (1471-1484) and housed the Monte Mario Astronomical Observatory from 1938 to 2000.
