German wall mask made by Goebel, according to a design by the renowned modeling artist Arthur Moller, this is a death mask called: 'L'Inconnue de la Seine', the design is from about 1935 and was made by Arthur Moller, based on the death mask of an unknown girl who drowned in the Seine around Year 1880. The girl's identity has never been determined. Her age was estimated at 16 years. Her mysterious smile has been compared to that of the Mona Lisa.
