The present translation, the first in French, is the work of Jean de Maulmont, a scholar from Corrèze. Magnificent print in Roman letters by Michel de Vascosan, the son-in-law of Josse Bade. - Text bordered in ink throughout. First leaf and last third worming in left margin, resulting in minimal and barely noticeable loss of letters in index. Some browning and light spotting, occasional inconspicuous waterstaining. Overall in good condition. With some woodcut initials and woodcut book decoration.
