In order to reduce the price of the Bible, the Cansteiner Bibelgesellschaft had smaller and smaller typefaces cut to make the Bibles smaller and, above all, cheaper. However, people with poor eyesight suffered as a result. With the Zunkel Bible, the opposite approach was taken: the font is particularly large. This resulted in a stately Bible weighing 9 kg!"
