May I ask you for a favor for my travel guide, as I lack a suitable correspondent there at the moment? I would like to add a few remarks to the new edition of my 'Northern Germany', which is currently in print, about the Kestner Museum opened in Nov. J. about the Kestner Museum ... and had addressed this request to Dr. Schuchardt ... ... with this request, but without reply. - Slightly creased at upper margin, generally well preserved. - NDB 1 (1953), p. 516 - Fritz Baedeker (1844-1925) was the youngest of three sons of the publisher Karl Baedeker. He ran his father's publishing house from 1869 until his death. - Included: Handwritten postcard with signature "Fr. Baedeker in Fa Karl Baedeker" to Mr. A. v. Seefeld in Hanover. Leipzig, Feb. 20, 1890 - "Many thanks for the kind reply to the ... note about the K.(estner) Museum. As much as I am generally pleased to be accommodating on the occasion of such inquiries as the one to Dr. Sch.(uchhardt), sometimes the most unpleasant delays occur due to non-response, unless another obliging correspondent, like you now, steps in to help." - A few small ink stains, generally well preserved.
