The archipelagos known as the Spice Islands consist of five islands of volcanic origin and were highly prized as the only source of nutmeg, cloves and mace. With decorative title cartouche and further cartouche with enlargement of the island of Bachan. - Occasionally somewhat browned and slightly stained. Colors very well preserved.
