The voyage with the "Centurion" (the only one of eight ships launched to return) led around Cape Horn, to Peru and Mexico as well as via the Mariana Islands to Macao and Canton. With 3 large maps of Patagonia, the Philippines and the Pacific and rich plate work, including numerous coastal views of Tierra del Fuego with ships. - Browned and somewhat brownstained due to paper, each with fading dampstain in the corners, some backed short tears and losses. Altogether a well-preserved copy with copper plates rich in nuances. Pacific - South Seas - With 34 engraved plates and maps, of which 32 folded (here plate 33 bound in only as a copy).
